Beware of Leadership Traits Associated With Failure

Business owner or leader always focus to develop leadership traits among their employees for better success of the organization, but it is interesting to recognize failures of leadership as well. Why leadership failure is occurring? There are some warning signs or traits associated with failures, which will help business owner or entrepreneur in developing leaders.

Leader should be focus on big pictures. Shifting in focus on little things like making money or fixating on fame is the biggest reason for failure. Poor communication is a very big hurdle in leadership. Effective leaders understand that followers don't read minds. It is about communicating ideas in an effective manner. Risk aversion or fear of failure is also an obstacle. The person ethics should not be slip in any condition. Self management is very important that the leader takes care of him/her to be able to achieve organization targets. They should stay on track.

Enemies of Effective Leadership

Selfishness is not good for leader, if leader has started to focus on himself, not others, and then failure is sure. As leader one should learn to serve, not demand. Poor communication kills the image of the leader and due to this reason message will be misinterpreted and misplaced. Communication should be polite, tone of voice should be moderate, and our body language should be good. Behavior of the leader should be good. There should be no place for jealously.

Leader should be strong enough to handle any situation, but not rude. A good leadership traits are- kind and humble but not weak; proud but not arrogant, humorous but not silly. Leader should avoid bad trait like rigid, arrogant, corrupt, evil etc.
