Introduction to Business Management

Business Management operates through various functions, more often classified as planning, organizing, leading/motivating, controlling and resourcing.

Planning - deciding what needs to happen in the future for the organization and generating some plans for proper action.

Organizing - making optimum use of the resources such as human resources, financial resources, technological resources, and natural resources. These resources are mainly required to enable the successful carrying out of plans.

Leading/Motivating - exhibiting skills in these areas for getting others to play an important and effective part in achieving goals or plans.

Controlling - monitoring - checking progress against every plans, which may need some modification based on proper feedback.

Resourcing - encompasses the deployment and manipulation of HRIS, financial resources, natural resources and technological.
